Mitig8 has appointed two consultants, Brian Bayard based in Texas and Carlos Buitron, based in Bolivia to build the team headed up by David Baxter already based in Miami.

Brian Bayard, a project risk engineer, has 25 years of related experience in Risk Management gained while working for the insurance and private sector markets.  He has worked on Insurance, Consultancy and Risk Management Projects in many parts of the world.

He has experience of Operational Risk Surveys and Assessments of, amongst others, Manufacturing and Fabrication Plants related to the Oil and Gas Industry Petroleum, Tank Farms & Energy Plants.He has developed skills in Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Contract Audits & Administration, Insurance Damage Reports & Forensic Surveys, Catastrophe Management, Security Risk Assessments and Management and Insurance Valuations.

Carlos Buitron, a structural and civil engineer, has gained over 15 years of experience in the construction, design and supervision of construction, restoration and rehabilitation of commercial, residential and historical buildings while working  for  the public and private sectors.

He has specialised knowledge of post-damage control, structural forensics and diagnostics of damaged structures. In addition to a qualification as a Chartered Civil Engineer he also has a Masters degree in Architectural Restoration, construction forensics and related topics such as seismic design and quality control of structures.

Naturally his first language is Spanish which will greatly enhance our ability to service accounts in Central and South America.
